About Me
Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my site. Here is a little bit about me. My name is Paula. I am a military wife and mother of 3. I love art, it is my passion. I also love baking. I ran a cottage food bakery for 15 years that specialized in decorative cakes, though I closed the door on that chapter of my life to focus more on college. I also love animals. We have a dog, 3 cats and a chinchilla. I was born in Laredo, TX. My mom immigrated from Mexico many years ago, and though I may not look it, I am very well versed in Hispanic culture. I moved to Arkansas when I was a teen and met the love of my life my junior year of high school. Though we were very young, we got married 2 months after graduation and have been together ever since. I started community college that fall and graduated a triple major three years later. Before I could work on my bachelor’s degree, my husband joined the military and so began a different adventure. In the military we have lived in some very interesting places, my absolute favorite military move was when we were stationed in Hawaii for three years! We lived on Helemano Military Reservation which is about 10 minutes from North Shore. Talk about paradise! After numerous moves, deployments and tours of duty, it was finally time for our family to settle down in one spot, so in 2011 we moved to Fort Worth and are lucky to call it our home.
